I decided to use SearchSmart for our Vice President Business Development search because I have known Sandra Paquette, the President of SearchSmart, for many years and trusted she understood the sector and would help us find a great candidate. The VP position has the majority of JDRF’s revenue and team under their portfolio, so this is a very important role to ensure we have the greatest iŵ p a c t.  What impressed me about Sandra was her commitment to understanding our needs in terms of skills as well as culture to enable the future success of our organization. We saw her commitment every step of the way – from a very organized and well communicated process, her thorough coverage of the market, and most importantly her ability to challenge us and ask thought provoking questions throughout the process. While doing the search it felt like she was a part of our team and would work as hard as we would to find the right person. We are excited about our new VP and are looking forward to the impact she will have on our mission. The SearchSmart team has gone on to hire 5 more great people for our team.
