As a first-time CEO in the NFP space, access to this community that  leverages the insights and experience of other CEOs and the expertise of subject experts, has already shown its true value. Given we share a lot of the same issues and challenges, it seems there is a great deal to be gained by leveraging our collective knowledge – particularly when the issues are as acute and time-sensitive as they often can be. When answering to my Board Chair about what my next steps will be on critical, time-sensitive issues, I have to believe the opportunity to weigh in on my greater CEO/ED community for reflection, will be a guiding force as I move forward in this role.
