Nora Constas, Chief Executive Officer, Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre

Nora Constas is the new CEO for Boost Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, reporting to the Board of Directors. Nora is an accomplished executive with a background in healthcare in both the private and NFP sectors. She was most recently Executive Director of Markham Family Health Team where she led through the covid pandemic. Previously, Nora worked as a nurse practitioner, care-coordinator and program administrator at the Hospital for Sick Children. With first-hand experience working in the emergency department, she brings extensive knowledge of children with complex needs from an acute care, ambulatory, and community context. Subsequently Nora joined Marsh Canada Ltd as a Senior Vice President and National Practice Leader in Clinical Risk Management and Consulting. In addition, Nora serves on the Board of Directors of Lumenus Community Services, which provides mental health, developmental, autism and early years intervention services to children, youth and families and individuals across Toronto. Nora holds a Master of Nursing/Advanced Practice Nursing and an Executive Master of Business Administration. We wish Nora the very best in her new role.

Oumar Dicko, National Director, Government Partnerships, Windmill Microlending

Oumar Dicko joined the leadership team at Windmill Microlending as National Director, Government Partnerships. Oumar will be Windmill’s first government relations leader with a focus on increasing government revenue while supporting the organization with their overall government strategy to support skilled immigrants. Oumar brings a depth of experience in government relations consulting, with Impact Public Affairs, was the Chief Economist for the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association. Oumar is a skilled lobbyist and has experience working in government with the Minister of Indigenous Affairs and Northern Development and the Minister of National Revenue. As an immigrant to Canada, Oumar wanted to give back and has been a long time Infantry Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces. Mischa Kaplan, Director, People and Culture, Cystic Fibrosis Canada

Mischa Kaplan is the new Director, People and Culture at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Mischa is responsible for setting a national HR strategy for CF Canada and supporting the executive team and staff with leading edge HR initiatives. Mischa brings to CF a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, a track record building innovative HR programs and a well referenced ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals. Mischa’s last role was the Director, Strategy, People and Projects at Ottawa Tourism, serving as part of the senior management team as the organization’s first ever HR lead. Mischa was previously the President and a co-owner of Rainbow Foods, a wellness food company, where he took a lead developing people and culture. Mischa is a part time professor at the School of Business at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Mischa holds an MSc, CHRL and CPHR and sits on the Board of Directors for the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation and Ottawa Board of Trade.

Kristen McComb, Senior Manager, Major and Mid-Level Giving Programs, Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada

Kristen joins Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada (CAF) as the Senior Manager, Major Gifts & Mid-Level Giving Programs. Kristen is responsible for building CAF’s first ever mid-level giving program as well as managing the Foundation’s prestigious $1M plus Teddy Bear Fund. Kristen has a wonderful blend of relationship management and analytical/operations skills, ideal for the portfolio she is now managing. She built her career at Trillium Health Partners Foundation as Development Officer, Philanthropy. Kristen stayed with the Foundation for over 5 years with the goal of learning as many foundational fundraising programs as possible, to position herself as a future fundraising leader. Kristen is a MBA candidate and will be graduating from Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. Nabila Mohammed is the new Chief Financial Officer at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Nabila has extensive experience leading financial, corporate and business functions in the healthcare space. Most recently, she was the Director, Finance and Corporate Services at the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a Controller at the Hospital for Sick Children. Nabila holds a CPA, CMA along with an MBA.
